What is the cost to access the Scudo data?

What kind of reports can we access?

You can access raw data via API or integrated with your preferred tool, standardized and
customized reports through your data dashboard. We have a list of pre-built reports you can access including: outbreak tracking, demand forecasting, risk calculators, interactive maps, risk exposure and multi-dimensional simulation model.

Where do you source the data?

We leverage the most reputable data sources and data sets and apply AI and advanced data
analytics to build data solutions that predict, track, analyze, and anticipate major outbreaks and similar disruptive events.

Is Shield App free?

The Shield app is free. Although the cost of sourcing, organizing and presenting such data is very
high, we intend to make all of our data free if you are a member.
Add-ins and other apps may be free or premium depending on the service offered.

What are the events covered by the data?

We want to be able to notify our users of all major events that may affect their health and lives, when they first happen and before they spread. This includes infectious disease outbreaks; civil unrests and situations of violent conflicts; fires, floods, hurricanes and other natural disasters. Our mission is to protect people from such events by giving them access to information that was previously not available to them.

We are software developers. How do we add our app?

Scudo app center allows you to add your app to leverage the most comprehensive database of data and users. Contact us to learn more. If your app is intended for the current COVID-19 situation and we can onboard you in a few days.

What is included in the Scudo store?

We have carefully selected the best merchants and products for each specific event. We currently have essential kits which contain most important household items including food and water. We also have hygiene kits and protection kits. You can inquire about our kits by contacting us and we will process your order.

Some crises may require different emergency products not included in the kits?

Our datasets allow us to predict and track outbreaks, conflicts and other similar events before they spread. This data allows us to anticipate demand for specific emergency products. If those products are not already offered in the current Scudo kit (essential, hygiene and protection), we will have them ready for our members.

What is the difference between Scudo food kits and other food boxes?

We have carefully selected the ingredients, quantities and combination necessary for the best available price. Our food kits, just like other scudo kits, are meant to offer you supply insurance in case of lockdowns, supply shortage and similar situations. In addition, all of our kits come with a full service support in case of emergencies.

How much supply should I buy?

We offer 1 month, 3 month and 9 month supply for all of our kits. Although 9 month supply works out cheaper, you may need to buy only 1 or 3 months. That would depend on your location, risk tolerance and risk probabilities (which you can access from your data dashboard).

What if you run out of supply? During the Corona virus outbreak, many supermarkets experienced a shortage of products.

This is the reason why you should order your emergency kits ahead of time to ensure you have everything you need to survive in case of sudden disruption to the supply chain. During the COVID-19 crisis, demand exceeded supply in a very short period of time, then supply in many places ran too low because of mass quarantines and lockdowns.
